Location: Lusaka, Kitwe or “Remote”

Reports To: HR Manager / People Operations Lead

Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive **HR Intern** to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers a hands-on learning experience in various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations. If you're passionate about people, processes, and workplace culture, this is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and databases
* Help schedule interviews, coordinate assessments, and communicate with applicants
* Support onboarding activities, including documentation, induction sessions, and system access
* Maintain employee records and assist with updating HR databases
* Help plan and support internal engagement activities (e.g., events, recognition programs)
* Assist in drafting HR communications, policies, and training materials
* Participate in HR analytics and reporting (e.g., turnover rates, recruitment metrics)
* Provide general administrative support to the HR team

Requirements:
1. Education: * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

2. Skills:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
* Familiarity with MS Office or Google Workspace
* Discreet and able to handle confidential information
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

3. Preferred (Not Required):
* Familiarity with HR software or applicant tracking systems (e.g., Zoho People, BambooHR, Workday)
* Basic knowledge of HR functions and labor laws
* Prior internship or project work in HR, recruitment, or administration
